Synopsis: Jo (11) is a slowpoke. When she misses her bus (again) she calls her big brother Robert to pick her up as usual. Instead, his girlfriend Caro comes. An accident on the way home changes Jo’s life forever. Three months later. Broken bones have healed. Jo is tired of talking about Caro’s death. She starts a new hobby, ice hockey: new physicality, new friendships, a place where she’s unknown. But her brother is the one who has to pick her up from training. On the repeated ride home, Jo and Robert are forced to deal with each other again.
Inhalt: Jo ist elf und vertrödelt schon gerne mal ihre Zeit. Eines Nachmittags verpasst sie nach einer Cellostunde ihren Bus. Wieder einmal. Als die Freundin ihres älteren Bruders sie abholt, passiert auf dem Rückweg ein Unfall. Jo überlebt. Die Freundin nicht. Drei Monate später will Jo nicht mehr ständig über den Unfall und Tod reden. Sie will Normalität. Sie beginnt Eishockey zu spielen und entdeckt eine neue Körperlichkeit, findet neue Freunde und Welten. Einzig ihr Bruder Robert lässt Jo immer wieder seine Ablehnung spüren. Widerwillig holt Robert seine Schwester nach jedem Hockeytraining ab. Auf dem sich wiederholenden Heimweg in der Enge des Wagens werden die Geschwister immer wieder aufs Neue gezwungen sich mit dem Verlust und dem Umgang des anderen mit der Trauer zu beschäftigen.

Synopsis: There is a nuclear power plant in Zwentendorf, Austria. Since 1978 the plant has been ready for operation. Shortly before it’s official opening popular protest prevented the start up of the plant – it was never put to use until today. There is a primary school in the unused office buildings, parties are held in the front yard, tourists holiday nearby and eat wiener schnitzel, Greenpeace practices abseiling down its chimney in readiness for real protest operations on active plants in Europe. At the centre of it all is the caretaker Johann Fleischer. He oversees the vast complex, alone, in what must be one of the most unique jobs in the world.
Inhalt: „Erntefaktor Null“ erzählt vom skurrilen Alltag am sichersten Atomkraftwerk der Welt, dem AKW Zwentendorf, Österreich. Die Brennstäbe waren damals, 1978, bereits vor Ort, das Werk auf Knopfdruck einsatzbereit. Doch dann kam es zur Volksabstimmung und das für acht Milliarden Schilling gebaute Werk ging nie in Betrieb – bis heute nicht.
