Synopsis: Over 3000 photos selected out of half a million negatives salvaged from a recycling plant in the outskirts of Beijing. The capital and the life of its inhabitants over the last thirty years, in an almost epic portrait of anonymous humanity.

Synopsis: Gao Feng, an old rural widower with senile dementia, comes to town to settle with his son in the city. Inhalt:Gao Feng, ein greiser, verwitweter Bauer mit Altersdemenz, kommt in die Großstadt, um sich bei seinem Sohn niederzulassen. Die Metropole beeindruckt ihn, aber Gao`s Gesundheit versagt es ihm, zu sprechen oder seine Gefühle auszudrücken. So wird er von seinem Sohn in dessen kleinem Appartment eingeschlossen. Aber dann finden plötzlich drei Fantasiewesen den Weg zu ihm…

The English title is more like a process we are seeking, which is full of absurdity and metempsychosis.
Inhalt: Unter dem Titel „Clown’s Revolution“ erwartet die Zuschauer eine surreale Bilderwelt: Ein Gruppe von Dichtern hat sich auf einer Insel eine utopische Gesellschaftsform erschaffen, die nur durch ein Leben für die Kunst existiert.
