Synopsis: After a long period of time a father and a son spend their day together, to attend the funeral of the grandmother. The sad occasion Der traurige Anlass birgt allerhand Konfliktpotential: Zunächst muss der Sohn angemessen gekleidet werden, doch Opas alter Anzug vermag nicht zu begeistern, und ein Kaufhausbesuch entwickelt sich schwierig. Trotz aller Differenzen ist am Ende aber etwas anders geworden.
